Tests over

Yesterday we spent over 10 hours at the University Hospital.  They took 7 biopsy samples from the lymph node in my right groin.   I didn’t think it would be painful, since I was told the lymph node is just under the skin, so I had them put in the IV so I could ask for light sedation, but chose to go without any to start.  Not my best decision.  The needles were 5” long.  Don’t faint, they did numb the area.  I think that was the worst part, you know like at the dentist.  It was not fun…..but it is over.

Then in the afternoon, I had a general anesthesia.  I’m no fool.  They did a physical exam to feel the growth and took a couple of biopsy samples.

So, all went well on both procedures and is proceeding well, so far, kennahura.

We don’t expect to have any results for quite a while.  So we will update you when we hear.
