After we left Colorado, after seeing a dietitian for Duane's newly diagnosed diabetes, we drove to Green River Utah for the night. I don't know how many of you have been to Green River, but we have been there many, many times. This time our room was not ready, so while we waited we went to the Crystal Geyser. I didn't know they had a geyser there, either. It seems a mining company was looking for oil or gas and hit cold water instead. The geyser goes off twice a day, irregularly, out of the pipe they left in place.
We drove down the dirt road, not expecting to see an eruption, which we didn't, and, instead, saw lovely desert scenery. The geyser has left travertine terraces, just like a hot water geyser would.
Did I mention, it was VERY WINDY.

From Green River we went to Mesquite to spend some time, and as it turned out, very little money before our check-in time today.
